We will be starting a new playground fundraiser. Popcorn will be sold at lunch time for $2 a bag on Wednesdays and Fridays in the cafeteria. You will be able to buy it during your eating period.

We are excited to announce that Bernice MacNaughton is inviting students from our school to take part in their Musical Production this year. The name of the Production is Cinderella with performances from 12-16 February. There is a cost of $25 to be part of the production. If you are interested in being part of the musical, please go and see Mrs du Toit or Ms McMullen to get an information letter and permission slip. All permission slips have to be returned by Thursday, 14 November.
Attention all Wabanaki School students. As you might have noticed, it’s cold outside. Please come to school prepared to endure the harsh Canadian elements. Go outside prepared with your jackets, hats, mitts, and stay outside! There is no wandering in the school during lunch time. Students must be in supervised locations or clubs.
Playground committee will be meeting today at lunch for the first 40 minutes, downstairs outside of the conference room. Please bring your lunch. 🙂

“The Wabanaki Girl’s volleyball teams opened their seasons yesterday.
Team Orange travelled to Maplehurst where they lost lost a close match.
Team Teal played against RMS in the FIRST EVER competitive sporting event at Wabanaki School. The score did not go their way but the girls played great!
Both girl’s teams have practice today in the gym at 12:00. Please bring your lunches. “
Our boys’ volleyball team has a practice at lunch today in the gym. Please bring your indoor shoes and permission slips if you have not done so.
